Armed Forces Medical Services Recruitment 2026 has been announced for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. Applications are invited from Indian citizens, both male and female, desirous of joining the Armed Forces as Medical Officers (Short Service Commission), who have passed their final MBBS (Part I & II) examination in not more than two attempts and have completed their internship by 31 July 2025.
Under Armed Forces Medical Services Recruitment 2026, doctors having Post Graduate degree will be considered on the basis of previous NEET PG result (on the basis of which they were given admission in PG Degree Course). They will not be required to appear for NEET PG again. Doctors who have passed PG Degree Course are not required to appear in NEET PG examination and hence should not apply.
The online application window for Armed Forces Medical Services Recruitment 2026 will remain open from 21 February 2026 to 12 March 2026. The selection process includes shortlisting based on NEET PG percentile and interview, followed by medical examination.
