Important Instructions
The period of deputation shall initially be for three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The period of deputation, including ex-cadre service, shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
Departmental officials in the feeder category who are in direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for deputation.
Deputationists shall not be eligible for appointment by promotion.
