Essential qualifications include a four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognized university with at least 50% marks including B.Ed component OR Bachelor’s/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject AND B.Ed degree from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks OR three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. OR One year B.Ed (Special Education) from RCI OR Post-Graduation in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks (as specified in the notification) and three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

Additional Requirement:

  • Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-II) conducted by CBSE.
  • Competency to teach through English and Hindi mediums.
