Eligibility Criteria
Hindi Officer – Pay Level 7
Promotion/Transfer on Deputation:
Officers under the Central/State Government:
a) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR
b) With 3 years regular service in posts in Pay Level 6 or equivalent; OR
c) With 8 years regular service in posts in Pay Level 5 or equivalent;
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR
Master’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level OR
Master’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent in any subject with Hindi as the medium and English as a subject at the degree level; OR
Master’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent in any subject with English as the medium and Hindi as a subject at the degree level. - 5 years of experience of terminological work in Hindi and/or translation work from English to Hindi or vice versa, preferably of technical or scientific literature, or 5 years of experience of teaching, research, writing, or journalism in Hindi.
Desirable: Knowledge of Sanskrit and/or a modern Indian language. Administrative experience.
Office Superintendent – Pay Level 6
Transfer on Deputation:
From amongst Central/State Government Officers:
a) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; OR
b) With six years regular service in posts in Pay Level 5 or equivalent.
Note: The period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department, shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
