Candidates must have a full-time bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with not less than 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 in the relevant paper.

Important Instructions
- Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
- The candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria.
- All qualifications should be from a recognized Indian university/institute recognized by AICTE/appropriate statutory authority.
- No manual/paper application will be entertained.
- The e-mail ID entered in the online application must remain valid for at least one year.
- Candidates selected shall undergo one year of training.
- Service Bond: Selected candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories shall execute a service bond of Rs. 500,000/- and SC/ST/PwBD candidates Rs. 250,000/- for serving NTPC for at least 3 years after successful completion of training.
- Selected candidates must undergo medical examination by the NTPC Medical Board/Officer and meet prescribed health standards.
