For NCC Candidates
- Graduation Degree from a recognized University
- Minimum ‘B’ Grade in NCC ‘C’ Certificate
- Minimum 2–3 academic years of service in Senior Division/Wing of NCC
- Final year students may apply subject to conditions
For Wards of Battle Casualties
- Graduation Degree required
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate is not mandatory

During Training
Selected candidates will receive ₹56,100 per month during 49 weeks of training at OTA, Chennai.
After Commissioning

- Captain: ₹61,300 – 1,93,900
- Major: ₹69,400 – 2,07,200
- Lieutenant Colonel: ₹1,21,200 – 2,12,400
- Colonel: ₹1,30,600 – 2,15,900
- Brigadier: ₹1,39,600 – 2,17,600
Approximate CTC is ₹17–18 Lakhs per annum excluding additional benefits.
