Brahmaputra Board Recruitment 2026 has been announced vide Advertisement dated 09.02.2026 for engagement through re-employment on a contract basis in Brahmaputra Board, Basistha, Guwahati—781029. Applications are invited from eligible and willing individuals having the requisite experience and expertise in relevant fields.
Brahmaputra Board Recruitment 2026 covers the posts of Superintending Engineer, Executive Engineer (Civil), Executive Engineer (Mechanical), Senior Accounts Officer, and Section Officer (Secretariat). The engagement shall be purely on a contractual basis and governed by the prescribed terms and conditions.

Retired from Level 11 or 05 years’ regular service as Assistant Executive Engineer (Level 10); minimum 05 years’ experience in Water Resources Engineering & Management including flood, hydrology, irrigation, inter-State aspects, cost, civil and hydro-mechanical designs, drainage, survey and investigation
Executive Engineer (Mechanical)
Retired from Level 11 or 05 years’ regular service as Assistant Executive Engineer (Mechanical) (Level-10); minimum 05 years’ experience in Water Resources Engineering & Management including flood, hydrology, irrigation, inter-State aspects, cost, civil and hydro-mechanical works, drainage, survey and investigation
Senior Accounts Officer
Retired from Level 11 or 05 years’ regular service as Accounts Officer (Level 10); minimum 03 years’ experience in financial matters and Central Government financial rules and regulations, preferably with experience in compilation of annual accounts, internal audit and knowledge of CPWD system of accounts
