Essential Qualifications (Post-wise Summary)
Principal & Professor (Unani)
- Postgraduate degree in concerned specialty included in Second Schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 or recognized under Section 35.
- Valid registration with State/Central Council.
- 10 years teaching/research experience (as detailed in PDF).
- Administrative experience: 3 years (for Principal).
- NET qualification (as applicable).
- Indexed research publications (as specified in PDF).
Associate Professor (Unani)
- Postgraduate degree in concerned specialty.
- Valid registration.
- 5 years of teaching/research experience.
- NET qualification.
- Minimum 3 indexed research papers (or equivalent criteria as detailed in notification).
Associate Professor (Pharmacology)
- MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject.
- 4 years as Assistant Professor.
- 2 research publications (indexed journals).
- Basic course in medical education technology.
- Basic course in biomedical research.
Assistant Professor (Unani Departments)
- Postgraduate degree in concerned specialty.
- Valid registration.
- Qualified National Teachers Eligibility Test.
- No teaching experience is required.
Assistant Professor (General Surgery)
- MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject.
- 1 year of senior residency in a recognized/permitted medical college.
Assistant Professor (Chemistry—Kulliyat)
- M.Sc./Ph.D. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Industrial Chemistry/Applied Chemistry (Annexure I).
Assistant Professor of Law
Eligibility (A or B):
A:
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in the concerned subject.
- NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016.
