Spices Board Spices Extension Trainees Recruitment 2026 has been announced by the Spices Board functioning under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The Spices Board Spices Extension Trainees Recruitment 2026 invites applications from eligible candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories for engagement as Spices Extension Trainees (SETs). The selection will be conducted through a walk-in test for engagement at various offices of the Spices Board.

Spices Board Spices Extension Trainees Recruitment 2026 has been issued through Notification No. 49/2025 by the Spices Board headquartered at Cochin, Kerala. The recruitment process aims to engage trainees in different regional, divisional, and field offices under the Spices Board to support extension activities related to spice cultivation and development. The training program is intended to assist in field-level activities and extension services carried out by the Board.

Under Spices Board Spices Extension Trainees Recruitment By 2026, a total of ten trainees will be engaged across different offices in the Kerala and Tamil Nadu regions. The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.20,000. In case of travel to spice fields, travelling allowance will also be provided. The training period for Spices Board Spices Extension Trainees Recruitment 2026 will be one year from the date of joining and may be extended up to one more year based on requirements.

Candidates applying under Spices Board Spices Extension Trainees Recruitment 2026 must possess a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, botany, microbiology, or biotechnology from a recognized university or Institute along with working knowledge in computer operations. The maximum age limit prescribed for applicants is 35 years as on the date of the walk-in test.

The test will consist of a written test and a computer proficiency test conducted on the same day. Important Instructions
