NPCIL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 has been announced by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a Government of India enterprise functioning under the Department of Atomic Energy. NPCIL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 at the Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site.

NPCIL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 has been released through Advertisement No. RR Site/HRM/Apprentice/01/2026. The engagement is for Trade Apprentice positions in multiple ITI trades at Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site, PO: Anushakti – 323303, Via Kota, Rajasthan. NPCIL is a premier public sector enterprise with comprehensive capability in various aspects of nuclear technology including site selection, design, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, renovation, modernization, plant life extension and waste management of nuclear reactors in India.

Under NPCIL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026, the organization has announced a total of 245 seats for Trade Apprentices across several ITI trades. The apprenticeship training will be conducted for a period of one year and selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as prescribed in the notification. The recruitment is being conducted to provide technical training opportunities to candidates who have completed ITI in the relevant trade.

As per NPCIL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026, candidates applying for the apprenticeship program must possess ITI pass certificate in the respective trade from a recognized institution. The age of applicants should not be less than 18 years and not more than 24 years as on 18 March 2026. Age relaxation will be provided for SC/ST, OBC (NCL) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per Government of India guidelines.

The selection process for NPCIL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be based on the percentage of marks obtained by candidates in the respective ITI trade. Candidates who submit all required information in the online application form will be shortlisted based on merit. Final selection will be subject to successful document verification.

Important Instructions

  • Apprenticeship training will be conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
  • Candidates currently undergoing or who have already completed apprenticeships in any organization are not eligible.
  • Selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the respective ITI trade.
  • In case of a tie in marks, the candidate born earlier will be given preference.
  • If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate with higher marks in 10th / 8th class (for the welder trade) will be placed higher in the merit list.
  • Preference will be given to eligible local candidates living within a 16 km radius of the Rawatbhata, Rajasthan, site.
  • No hostel or transport facility will be provided during apprenticeship training.
  • Candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate issued by a government-registered medical practitioner during document verification.
  • Selected candidates will have to execute a contract of apprenticeship before commencement of training.
  • Engagement as an apprentice does not guarantee employment in NPCIL after completion of training.
