• Candidates must bring original certificates along with one attested copy signed by parents or guardians during the selection trials.
• Candidates are required to get their ears cleared from wax and tarter removed from teeth prior to examination.
• Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms or back of hand. Tattoos on other parts of body are not acceptable.
• Selection criteria includes scrutiny of NBC and officials’ trials conducted in a transparent manner.
• Shortlisting will be based on higher sailing achievements.
• Candidates declared medically Temporary Unfit may avail specialist review from specified Military Hospital within maximum 21 days.
• Candidates declared medically Permanent Unfit may appeal for Specialist opinion from Military Hospital within 21 days.
• The selected candidates will undergo a four-year training period.
• Academic training from Class VI to Class X will be provided at Navy Children School/hostel.
• On completion of training, candidates will be eligible to join the Sports Authority of India (SAI) coaching.
• If performance during training is not satisfactory, candidates may be discharged.
