Officers must belong to the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, recognized research institutions, universities, semi-government organizations, statutory bodies, or autonomous organizations.
Departmental officers in the feeder grade who are in direct line of promotion are not eligible for deputation.
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.
The deputation period will initially be for three years.
